Pup Handler 101

There are lots of classes out there about how to be a human pup, but what about Handlers? What the $%#@ do we do?!

In this class, you'll learn all about what it takes to be a Handler. Topics include:

- Understanding your role as a Handler,

- Duties and responsibilities,

- Building your toolkit,

- Safety,

- Finding your (and your pet's style),

- Approaching human pets online and in person,

- Setting up your dynamic,

- Structuring scenes,

- Playtime ideas,

- Basic training techniques,

- And more!

You'll leave armed with all the tools necessary to find and "adopt" your first pup!

About the Instructor

Mistrexx Wiley Wolfe (she/they/Daddy) is a Professional Dominant, Handler, and Ethically Polyamorous Primal Daddy based in Los Angeles. She grew up around dogs, training and competing for four years in Dog Agility, where she worked with a variety of different breeds. Although she loves all (bio and human) animals, she's always had a soft spot for pups!

She is the Co-Founder of SoCal Creatures, an inclusive pet play group; Quench, a monthly LGBTQIA+ munch; and created the Wolfe Academy of Kink, an online kink education series. She has also taught for Wicked Grounds, Black Thorn, DomCon LA, Dungeon East, and more. Pre-pandemic, she often worked kink taster booths and performed at various clubs and events, including LA Pride, Bar Sinister, Sanctuary Studios, and Torture Garden LA.

She teaches workshops on many different aspects of BDSM, with a particular focus on animal play, deepening intention, and full immersion role play. As a gay genderqueer woman, her driving desire is to foster connection, education, ethics, and radical inclusiveness in BDSM.
